Lemon Hibiscus Gummy Bears (Keto, Low-Carb, Gluten-Free, Vegan)
Lemon Hibiscus Gummy Bears
These are super good and easy to make. My kids love them. They are fairly soft in texture and I'm still experimenting on making them a bit chewier. 🐻🐻🐻 Only 1.5g net carbs in each serving.
Makes 16 servings (about 20 bears per serving).
Ingredients:
3/4 c. water
1/4 c. lemon juice (juice from 1 lemon)
1/4 tsp. hibiscus flower powder
1 tbsp. agar powder
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 scoop (80mg) stevia powder
Directions:
- Whisk together lemon juice, water, sugar, stevia powder and hibiscus powder until sugar is dissolved and add to sauce pan over med/high heat.
- Add agar agar powder and whisk until mixture begins to simmer. Remove immediately.
- Pour into molds with dropper. (These are the molds I use Gummy Bear Molds
which also come with a dropper.)
- Let set at room temperature. Mixture should set very quickly. (If they have not set after 10 minutes, pour mixture back into sauce pan, whisk while bringing to simmer a second time.)
