Keto Sweetened Condensed Milk
A basic necessity for some very important baked goods! Only 0.5g of carbs. It's labor intensive due to the 20-25 minutes of whisking, so be warned! But it is totally worth it! 😃
As you can see mine turned out a bit thick, like a pudding (this was after being refrigerated overnight). Tastes so good!
Makes 28 servings (2 tablespoons each).
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 scoops (320mg) stevia powder
pinch of salt
3 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
- Mix together heavy cream, unsalted butter, stevia powder and salt in sauce pan.
- Bring to boil on medium heat while whisking.
- Turn down to simmer and continue whisking until mixture had thickened (about 20-25 minutes, you may be able to get away with 15 minutes if you would like yours less dense).
- Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla.
- Pour into container. Keep in refrigerator for up to five days or freeze for 3 months.
