Hemp Heart Pesto (Keto, Low-Carb, Gluten-Free)

Hemp Heart Pesto

This is just your basic pesto with pine nuts replaced with hemp hearts. It's just as tasty and adds more protein.

Makes 4 servings.

2 cups fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup hemp hearts
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
3-4 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic
salt to taste

  1. Add all ingredients to food processor except for the olive oil.
  2. Pulsate, scrapping down the sides as needed, and add oil a little at a time until it reaches the consistency you prefer.
